Awkward

missing a step,

I dropped down to awkwardness,

my cheeks flushed red, laughter lines

stretching on those walking with me,

to my fall down the sidewalk-

that was that moment’s silent reception…

.

Ah! I can taunt, I can be awkward but I can’t jock. I am “still” linking it up with Trifextra.

Did you notice that? Jock… Joke… Ahem! I hope you did. Awkward.

Lonesome Night

It was a lonesome night when he entered the pub, leaning on his walking stick. The lights were dim and he could see that it was all empty. The floor shone as if it was just laid that morning and all the rickety tables were clean. He trotted his way towards the individual stools.

Sitting down, he saw a woman appear out of thin air. She had wholesome breasts and that was the first thing he noticed. With a deep cleavage where she could grow flowers if need be, she stopped by his stool, battling her jet-black eyelashes.

“What would you like to have?” Her voice was the mating call of the tigress and distracted him from his careful contemplation of her bosoms.

“Uh… Uh huh! I would like… anything you give me.” He failingly tried to flirt but it had all come out to be quite silly.

He looked at her face as a seductive smile played on her luscious lips. He took her whole persona capturing every single bit of her from top to bottom in a matter of few seconds, while she stood still with that astonishing smile.

He gasped as she started to remove the straps of her burgundy gown. Taking in every moment of her fingers as they glided across her body, he could feel the heat in his crotch.

It took her but a minute to get out of her rumpled dress. She was naked for him to take but before he could speak anything, she went to the bar and made a concoction for him. He waited eagerly rubbing his testicles and soon, she returned with his drink.

“What is it, darling?” he asked hurriedly.

“Zombie- mixture of this and that,” she revealed.

He eagerly finished the drink in one gulp and he was out before even a single thought could cross his mind.

“One must not go out alone on Halloween,” said the naked woman as she disappeared along with the dead body.

Branded: A Short Story

He saw the brand-mark just below her left breast as she tore open her shirt and he knew that he was to kill her before dawn.

“What are you looking at, sweets?”

“Ah! I am gazing at your perfect figure. You are beautiful,” he said sincerely. His eyes were still fixed on the hexagonal brand, which shone with multiple hues even in the almost dark room. The only light was that of the kerosene lamp on a nearby table.

“Then what are you doing there? Unzip your pants. I want you… oh baby! I have always wanted you,” she remarked seductively, touching herself.

He caressed his crotch and moved towards her. He reached for her and kissed her deeply, biting her lips. A drop of blood appeared which he licked. She moaned in response and got him out of his clothes.

“What would you want me… want me to do? I will do anything,” she was running her fingers through his dark brown hair as he explored her body through his tongue; his mind distracted in trying to find a way to end this demon. She was a childhood friend but now, she was branded. She was not herself anymore and the best he could do for her was to kill her.

He looked up to see her eyes glinting. They had gone violet. She had taken her cursed form.

“I… will… do… anything… for… you…,” her eyeballs were rolling out of control and she was trembling in his arms.

He shouted when she flayed her blistered tongue and abraded it across his lips through his nose to his forehead.

That was a very long night. There came no help in return of his shrieks; those who heard him envied him for his luck on finding a girl who could make him cry so lustily.

Argument: A Very Short Story

“I am quite frustrated. I am not able to do so. It is difficult for me, you know?”

“You are providing such a weak reason. You must finish what you started.”

“But I am bored.”

“So you are bored. Wow! So should the earth stop rotating if it gets bored? Should the air stop blowing if it gets bored?”

“You are being impractical.”

“You are being impractical as well. You must finish your job.”

“I don’t want to do it. Isn’t that what you wanted to hear? Here it is. Now let me sleep.”

“Why should I care? Anyhow, this argument is a waste of time. I must go to sleep as well.”

He slept in the lonely room, the moon light peering through the window casting his sleeping shadow against himself.

Saved by the Twins: A Very Short Story

“The relationship between the twins is not going to change in a night’s time.”

“But it has to. We have to band them because in order to save the planet, we need them both working together,” the old scientist revealed.

“Why do you need both of them? They are now old women. They can barely walk and you want them to save the planet.”

“Nina and Gina, both have a powerful object with them. That is why they are the only one who could save a million inhabitants from certain demise. According to my team, the asteroid will enter the planet’s atmosphere tomorrow morning.”

“I don’t see how I could help. I was their friend long back, before the rift that tore them apart.”

“We have to bring them together. It is urgent. Can you tell me what happened with them?”

“I know of it just faintly. They were 20 then, when they fell in love with Sam. They both wanted him. But… and they drifted apart after Sam chose some one else altogether. The small battle had turned into a cold war.”

“I beg you… It is not for me, but for all of us.”

She agreed and it was nearly impossible to bring them together. But she was successful in the end, after explaining the complicated problem to them both. They both had obliged to help because their own lives were at stake as well.

In the early morning, they came to the observatory where they both produced their rings, sneering at each other. They banded the rings which produced an ethereal gold light which drifted ahead and covered, shielding the entire planet. They waited.

A little after noon, the news came that the asteroid deflected back to the space . They were all saved.

After their cheers to both the sisters who had saved their lives, the head scientist asked the two of them, “Whom did Sam marry then?”

They looked at him startled. “Sam was a horse,” they both barked.
